Cleric

Cleric is the techno project of Manchester-based producer Jorden Hodgetts, who began releasing electronic music in 2013. He operates his own label Clergy, which serves as the primary outlet for his productions alongside releases on established imprints including Soma Records, Projekts, and FIGURE.

Cleric's sound centers on peak time and driving techno, complemented by raw, deep, and hypnotic variations that cater to different moments in a DJ set. His releases on Soma Records and Projekts demonstrate his ability to craft both high-energy floor weapons and more introspective deep cuts. The producer maintains consistent output through his Clergy label while continuing to place tracks on external imprints, with releases spanning from 2013 through 2025. His catalog includes both individual tracks and full albums, providing DJs with options ranging from direct dance floor impact to more experimental electronica explorations.
