Cocktail Party Effect

Cocktail Party Effect is a Berlin-based producer who also releases music under the aliases Kasket and Charlie Baldwin. The project began releasing music in July 2019, establishing a presence across multiple electronic music spheres with six releases spanning from 2019 to 2025.

The artist's sound traverses leftfield house and techno territories, incorporating elements of electronica, downtempo, and breakbeat. Releases appear on labels including Tectonic, In Silent Series, Sneaker Social Club, and Modularfield, showcasing work that ranges from peak-time driving techno to raw, deep, and hypnotic productions. The music demonstrates versatility across tempo ranges, moving between the contemplative spaces of downtempo electronica and the driving energy of peak-time techno, while incorporating UK bass influences and breakbeat elements that add rhythmic complexity to the productions.
