Coefficient

Coefficient is the UK techno project of Pat Cooper, a producer and sound engineer who began releasing music in 2014. Cooper also records under the alias Kenaz and operates as a mastering engineer through his Coefficient Mastering service. He has maintained a steady output with 6 releases spanning over a decade, establishing himself within the UK's underground techno circuit.

Cooper produces peak time driving techno and raw deep hypnotic techno, releasing primarily through Unspace and KR/LF Records. His productions lean toward the harder end of the techno spectrum, designed for peak hour club sets with driving rhythms and hypnotic elements. The Coefficient sound centers on relentless four-four patterns and industrial textures that work effectively in warehouse and basement club environments. His technical background in sound engineering translates into productions with crisp, powerful mixdowns that cut through large sound systems.
