Confidence Man

Confidence Man is an Australian electropop group from Brisbane, Queensland, formed in 2016. The four-piece band consists of Lewis Stephenson, Sam Hales, Aidan Moore, and Grace Stephenson, who perform under the stage names Janet Planet, Sugar Bones, Clarence McGuffie, and Reggie Goodchild respectively. The group began releasing music through electronic labels in 2020, with their first tracked release appearing in January of that year.

Confidence Man operates across electronica, indie dance, deep house, dance electro pop, and UK garage territories, delivering releases through Heavenly Recordings, Polydor Records, and Ninja Tune. Their sound incorporates nu disco, house, and alternative dance elements with electropop sensibilities, maintaining consistent output through 2025 with ten tracked releases.
