Cook Strummer

Cook Strummer is a Berlin-based electronic music producer whose real name is Max. He began his musical journey in 2012 after arriving in Berlin, releasing six EPs between 2012 and 2013. He collaborated with producer Laurent Zimmermann on his debut album 'The Fall', which he spent two years composing, recording and mixing at Studio K61 in Berlin with sound engineer Mario Engelter. In 2016, he connected with Noah Luttermann, co-owner of Berlin electronic music label LOK Recordings.

Cook Strummer produces melodic house & techno, electronica, downtempo, and indie dance across labels including Get Physical Music, LOK Recordings, and KATERMUKKE. His discography on Electrobuzz spans from October 2018 to September 2022 with five releases. His sound ranges from the deeper, more contemplative territories of electronica and downtempo to the dancefloor-oriented energy of melodic house and indie dance, reflecting Berlin's diverse electronic music landscape.
