Copyright

Copyright is a UK house production duo consisting of Gavin "Face" Mills and Sam Holt. Originally formed as a trio with Scotti De La Hoya, the group became a duo in 2003 when De La Hoya departed. The duo operates under additional aliases including The Movement and One Track Minds, and runs their own imprint Copyright Recordings. They began releasing music in 2013 and have maintained an active presence in the house scene through 2020.

Copyright produces deep house, house, and tech house tracks that have found homes on established labels including Noir Music, Defected, and dftd. Their sound spans the spectrum from deeper, groove-oriented productions to more driving tech house rhythms suitable for peak-time sets. The duo has released six tracks across these labels between 2013 and 2020, demonstrating consistency in their output while working with some of house music's most respected imprints. Their releases on Defected and its sister label dftd position them within the UK's commercial house scene, while their Noir Music output showcases a more underground approach.
