Cora Novoa

Cora Novoa is a Spanish electronic music artist and DJ from Ourense who began releasing music in 2010. She founded and serves as Creative Director of Seeking The Velvet, her own imprint that has become a platform for her artistic vision. Born in 1984, Novoa has maintained a steady output over more than a decade, with 12 releases spanning from her debut in July 2010 through upcoming projects scheduled into 2025.

Novoa's sound moves between progressive house, tech house, and various techno subgenres, from peak time driving tracks to raw, deep, and hypnotic compositions. Her releases have appeared on respected labels including Turbo Recordings, Second State, and Void+1 Recordings, alongside her own Seeking The Velvet imprint. Her work demonstrates versatility across tempo ranges and moods, from the melodic progressions of progressive house to the harder-edged dynamics of peak time techno, making her catalog suitable for different sections of extended DJ sets.
