Cortese

Cortese is a UK DJ and production duo that formed in 2018, originally based in Reading before relocating to Brighton. The pair began releasing music in 2020 with their debut on Hotflush Recordings, establishing themselves within the UK electronic music circuit. They have released 10 tracks across multiple imprints including Time Is Now Records and Last Night On Earth.

Cortese operates across a broad spectrum of electronic genres, moving between UK garage and bassline, house, melodic house and techno, breaks and breakbeat, and raw deep techno. Their releases on Hotflush Recordings and Last Night On Earth demonstrate their ability to work within both underground bass-heavy territories and more melodic dancefloor-focused material. The duo's sound spans from the percussive energy of UK bass and breakbeat through to the deeper, hypnotic qualities of contemporary techno, making their catalog suitable for DJs working multiple rooms or seeking versatile tracks that bridge different electronic music scenes.
