Cosmin TRG

Cosmin TRG is Romanian electronic producer Cosmin Nicolae, now based in Berlin. He began releasing music in 2011 and operates under multiple aliases including Deffanition. Nicolae runs his own labels FIZIC and SPORTIV, establishing himself as both artist and label curator within the European electronic music circuit.

His productions span peak time techno and electronica, with releases appearing on Protection and 50 Weapons alongside his own imprints. TRG's sound encompasses driving techno designed for peak hours as well as downtempo electronica, demonstrating range from raw hypnotic techno to ambient textures. His catalog of 25 releases since 2011 shows consistent output across house and minimal techno territories, with his Berlin base influencing his evolution toward more club-focused material while maintaining his electronica sensibilities.
