Crackazat

Crackazat is the stage name of Ben J. Worrall, a jazz musician and electronic producer originally from Bristol, England. He relocated to Sweden in 2012 and began releasing music in 2014, forming an alliance with Swedish house label Local Talk. Worrall performs under several aliases including Ben Bjunér and Ben J Worrall, drawing from his formal background in jazz composition and performance.

His productions span house, deep house, funky house, and nu disco, characterized by jazz-influenced musicality and live keyboard elements. Crackazat releases primarily on Local Talk but has also appeared on respected labels including Freerange Records, Heist Recordings, Nervous Records, and Stay True Sounds under Defected. His live performances feature keyboard solos over improvised reworks of his studio productions, blending his jazz training with electronic dance music. With 37 releases since 2014, his sound combines the groove-oriented approach of Swedish house with the musical sophistication of his Bristol jazz background.
