Crawford Artist Bio

Crawford are a 3 piece rock band based in Singapore. The band are named after the drummer James Crawford who comes from Brisbane, Australia. Guitarist Stephen Trevis and vocalist Justin Birch are Brits from Bristol and Bath respectively. Crawford were formed in June 2010 and have just released their first single “Fighting Fires”. The video for Fighting Fires is now on Youtube.

There are influences of the Aussie, US and Brit independent rock scene in their music. Yet the sound that they create is very much their own. Guitar driven, energetic rock with intelligent and observational lyrics, Crawford’s sound has been described as “music for angry not-so-young men!”

The first album by Crawford will be available in mid 2011.
