Crown

Crown is a French group from Colmar that began releasing electronic music in 2018, despite originally forming as a metal band in 2011. The group consists of five members: David Husser, Frederyk Rotter, Marc Strebler, Pascal Guth, and Stephane Azam. They previously operated under the alias Your Inland Empire and have maintained an active release schedule with 14 electronic releases between March 2018 and October 2024.

Crown produces house-oriented tracks spanning tech house, funky house, and afro house territories. Their releases appear on established labels including Nervous Records, Zulu Records, and Tribal Kitchen, alongside smaller imprints like Let's Play Music and Tactical Records. The group's sound incorporates AIFF elements and maintains the groove-heavy characteristics typical of funky and afro house subgenres. Their consistent output across multiple labels over six years demonstrates their adaptability within the house music spectrum.
