About
Cumbiafrica is a Colombian duo comprising Leonardo Gómez Jattín and Lina Rojas, originating from Colombia's Caribbean coast. The group began releasing music in June 2022 and has since produced 12 releases across major electronic music labels. They have collaborated multiple times with French DJ and producer HUGEL on various projects.
Cumbiafrica produces tech house and Afro house tracks that blend Latin rhythms with club-ready beats designed for dancefloor energy. Their releases appear on prominent labels including Cr2 Records, Glasgow Underground, Revealed Recordings, Repopulate Mars, and Insomniac Records. The duo's sound centers on hip-shaking club records that incorporate their Colombian Caribbean heritage into contemporary house music frameworks, delivering what they describe as sweat-inducing singles built for peak-time club play.
