Cypherpunx

Cypherpunx is a UK-based electronic music duo comprising Tim Belcher and Douglas Horner. The pair began releasing music in February 2019 and maintains an active release schedule through 2025, with nine releases catalogued across multiple labels.

The duo produces melodic house and techno alongside progressive house, operating primarily in the 120-130 BPM range with atmospheric builds and driving basslines. Their releases appear on established labels including Bedrock Records, Rebellion, and Renaissance Records, with tracks regularly charting on Beatport's top 100. Cypherpunx also explores harder electronic territories through electro productions and drum and bass tracks, demonstrating versatility across tempo ranges from 85 BPM breakbeats to 140+ BPM club anthems. Their progressive house output focuses on extended arrangements with layered synthesizer work, while their techno productions emphasize percussive elements and darker sonic palettes.
