D.I.E.

D.I.E., which stands for Detroit In Effect, is a duo from Detroit consisting of Odell Perry and Tameko J. Williams. The project began releasing music in 2018 and operates under the alias M.A.P. Williams also performs solo under the name T.J. Williams.

D.I.E. produces peak time driving techno and classic Detroit electro, with releases appearing on Clone West Coast Series and Clone Records between 2018 and 2021. Their sound spans from hard-hitting techno designed for peak hours to more experimental electronica and downtempo material. The duo's six releases demonstrate their devotion to electro music rooted in Detroit's electronic heritage, delivering both dancefloor-focused tracks and deeper electronic compositions that reflect the city's influential electronic music tradition.
