Dam Swindle

Dam Swindle is a Dutch production duo from Amsterdam consisting of Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets. The group formed in 2020 as a rebrand from their previous alias Detroit Swindle, which they operated under prior to November 2020. They run their own label Heist Recordings and have released 39 tracks since their first release in February 2021.

The duo produces deep house and house music with forays into afro house, tech house, and minimal deep tech. Their releases appear on respected labels including Aus Music, King Street Sounds, and Classic Music Company alongside their own Heist Recordings imprint. Dam Swindle's sound centers on groove-driven deep house with warm, analog textures that work equally well in peak-time and after-hours sets. Their production style maintains consistent quality across different house subgenres, making their tracks reliable choices for DJs seeking sophisticated dancefloor material.
