Dan Andrei is a Romanian DJ and producer who began releasing music in December 2019. He operates under the alias Aloe Varu and has released seven tracks across multiple labels including his own imprint arpiar, as well as Amphia, with some releases appearing independently without label backing.

His sound spans minimal and deep tech territories alongside breaks, breakbeat, and UK bass influences, with additional forays into house music. Dan Andrei's releases on arpiar and Amphia showcase his range from stripped-down minimal techno to more rhythmically complex breakbeat constructions. His production style maintains the low-end focus typical of minimal tech while incorporating the syncopated rhythms and bass-heavy elements characteristic of UK bass and breakbeat scenes. Since his debut release, he has maintained consistent output through 2024, with his most recent material appearing in October.
