Dany Cohiba

Dany Cohiba is the production alias of Daniel Altadill Llort, a Spanish DJ and producer based in Barcelona. He launched his electronic music career in March 2013 and founded his own imprint La Cava Recordings. Over his decade-plus career, Cohiba has released 26 tracks across multiple labels, establishing himself as a consistent presence in the underground house scene.

His productions span Afro House, Tech House, and peak-time driving Techno, with releases appearing on labels including Phunk Traxx, United Music Records, Ocha Mzansi, Ppmusic, and BluFin. Cohiba's sound combines the rhythmic elements of Afro House with the driving energy of Tech House, creating dancefloor-focused tracks that work across different contexts. His catalog demonstrates a preference for groove-heavy productions that maintain the percussive foundation of Afro House while incorporating the harder-edged elements typical of contemporary Tech House and peak-time Techno formats.
