Das Pharaoh

Das Pharaoh is the progressive house and melodic techno alias of Egyptian DJ Fadi Wassef Naguib, who is also known as half of the trance duo Aly & Fila. Operating under his real name Fadi Wassef Naguib as well, he launched the Das Pharaoh project in December 2022 with his first release on UV Noir. The project represents his exploration into progressive house and melodic techno territories, distinct from his established trance career.

Das Pharaoh's sound spans progressive house, melodic house & techno, and Afro house, with occasional ventures into indie dance. His releases appear primarily on UV Noir and UV labels, showcasing a melodic approach to progressive house that incorporates both driving energy and atmospheric elements. The project bridges his trance background with contemporary progressive house sensibilities, delivering tracks that work across both peak-time and deeper set moments. His catalogue includes five releases between 2022 and 2025, establishing Das Pharaoh as a focused outlet for his progressive house productions.
