Dave Seaman

Dave Seaman, born David Charles Seaman in Leeds in 1968, stands as a British producer, remixer and DJ who has maintained a prolific career spanning over three decades. He served as editor of Mixmag from 1988 to 1991 and founded Stress Records in 1990 with Nick Gordon Brown. Seaman launched Audio Therapy in 2000 before co-founding Selador Recordings with Steve Parry in 2013, establishing himself as both artist and label owner within the electronic music landscape.

Seaman's production output encompasses tech house, melodic house and techno, progressive house, and deep house, with 65 releases documented since his first appearance in 2009. His music appears on labels including his own Selador imprint alongside Hive Audio, Chapter 24 Records, Sincopat, and Soulfooled. His sound spans from driving peak-time techno to deeper progressive house territories, reflecting his evolution from the early house scene through contemporary melodic techno movements.
