David Brown Forbes is a Scottish trance and techno DJ and producer who has operated under multiple aliases including Propulsion, Optimus, and Tecra. He founded his digital label Aria Digital in February 2010, establishing himself within the UK's electronic music scene. Forbes began releasing music on major platforms in 2022, with his first documented release appearing in November of that year.

Forbes produces peak time driving techno, main floor trance, house, drum & bass, and hard techno, spanning tempos from 128 to 150+ BPM with high-energy dancefloor focus.
