Pierre David Guetta operates from Paris, France, where he began DJing at age sixteen in the early 1980s at the city's Broad Club. Born November 7, 1967, Guetta released his first single "Up & Away" in 1992, followed by his debut album "Just A Little More Love" in 2002. He performs under aliases Jack Back and Jack Hisbach, with his underground electronic releases appearing on Electrobuzz since December 2021.
Guetta's current output spans tech house, melodic house & techno, and Afro house, with releases distributed through Spinnin Records, Parlophone UK, Ministry of Sound Recordings, and FFRR. His 31 releases on Electrobuzz demonstrate a focus on club-oriented productions that range from deeper house grooves to more driving techno-influenced tracks. The Jack Back alias specifically targets the underground market, delivering harder-edged tech house that contrasts with his mainstream David Guetta material, with consistent output maintaining presence across both commercial and underground electronic music scenes.
