Daya

Grace Martine Tandon, professionally known as Daya, is an American singer and songwriter from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, born October 24, 1998. She initially gained recognition in the pop and electropop scenes, signing to Artbeatz, Z Entertainment, and RED Distribution before releasing her self-titled debut EP in September 2015, which featured the hit "Hide Away" that charted in the Top 40 across the United States, Canada, New Zealand and several European countries. In 2025, Daya transitioned into electronic music production, releasing her first electronic tracks in April 2025.

Daya's electronic music output spans tech house, melodic house & techno, and electro, with releases appearing on Spinnin Records and achieving placement in Beatport's Top 100 charts. Her sound incorporates dance/pop elements with mainstage appeal, drawing from her synthpop and electropop background while adapting to club-oriented tempos and structures. Between April and December 2025, she released eight electronic tracks, with her work being featured in Curation Best Of 2025, demonstrating a rapid evolution from mainstream pop artist to electronic music producer within a single year.
