About
Deekay operates as a five-person producer collective based at DeeKay Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark. The group consists of founders Lars Jensen and Martin M. Larsson, alongside Johannes Jørgensen, Dicky Daniel Klein, and Tim McEwan. The team began releasing electronic music in May 2024 through their website deekaymusic.dk.
Deekay produces house music spanning multiple subgenres, from Afro House to Progressive House and Melodic House & Techno. The collective releases on established labels including Clubshine Records, Sudbeat Music, and Selador, with six releases documented through March 2026. Their sound encompasses the full spectrum of house tempos and moods, moving between the percussive elements of Afro House and the deeper, more progressive territories of melodic techno.
