Deep Future

Deep Future is the production alias of Brian Durkin, an Irish DJ, musician and producer born in Sligo, Ireland. He began releasing electronic music in November 2010 and maintained an active release schedule through October 2013, producing nine releases over this three-year period.

Deep Future operates primarily within deep house and tech house territories, crafting tracks that sit comfortably in the mid-tempo range typical of these genres. His productions lean toward the deeper, more atmospheric side of house music while incorporating the driving elements characteristic of tech house. The project remained active for a concentrated period between 2010 and 2013, during which Durkin developed a focused sound palette that DJs could rely on for both peak-time and deeper moments in their sets.
