Deepchild

Deepchild is Australian producer Rick Bull, who has relocated to Germany since beginning his electronic music career. Bull also produces under the alias Acharné and operates the DCR label. His first documented release appeared in December 2009, marking the start of a prolific output that spans over 40 releases through 2026.

Bull's sound centers on peak time and driving techno, frequently incorporating tech house and raw, hypnotic techno elements. His releases appear on labels including his own DCR imprint, Goldmin Music, Face To Face, Kneaded Pains, and Neverwhere. While his core output maintains the driving energy suitable for peak hours, Bull also explores ambient techno and dub techno territories, creating deeper, more hypnotic tracks alongside his dancefloor-focused material. His extensive catalog demonstrates consistent activity in both the house and techno spheres, with a particular focus on the harder, more driving end of the spectrum.
