Demuir is the alias of Toronto-based DJ and producer Kevin Dennis Pierre, who began releasing music in 2015. The Canadian artist runs Purveyor Underground alongside Kultur with Junior Sanchez, establishing himself as both a prolific producer and label owner. Since his debut release in January 2015, Demuir has maintained consistent output with 84 releases spanning a decade-long career that extends into 2025.

His sound centers on house music variants, ranging from deep house grooves to driving tech house tracks, with frequent excursions into jackin house and peak-time techno territories. Demuir releases primarily through his own Purveyor Underground imprint while also appearing on established labels including Robsoul Recordings, ORIGINS RCRDS, Heist Recordings, and Magnetic Recordings.
