Der Dritte Raum

Der Dritte Raum is a German techno duo comprising Andreas Krüger and Ralf Uhrlandt, formed in 1993 in Niedersachsen. Krüger, based in Göttingen, leads the project while Uhrlandt serves as co-DJ for live performances. The duo operates their own imprint, Der Dritte Raum Records, alongside releasing music since 2013 across labels including Harthouse, Tronic Soundz, KATERMUKKE, and Still Hot.

Their sound spans peak time and driving techno with crossover elements of tech house and melodic house & techno. Der Dritte Raum delivers high-energy productions suited for prime-time dancefloor moments, incorporating both the driving intensity of German techno and more progressive melodic structures. Their catalog demonstrates versatility across the techno spectrum, from harder peak-time cuts to more nuanced melodic approaches, with releases spanning over a decade of consistent output through 2025.
