Desire

Desire is a synth pop trio formed in Montréal, Québec in 2009, comprising members Nat Walker, Megan Louise, and John Padgett. The group relocated to Palm Springs and operates under the alias Primitive Desire. They began releasing electronic music in 2020, transitioning from their synth pop origins into the deep house and melodic techno sphere.

Desire produces deep house and melodic house & techno tracks that span electronic and electronica territories. The trio releases music through Italians Do It Better, Rumors, and There Is Love In You labels, with five releases documented between June 2020 and August 2024. Their sound incorporates elements from their trance background, creating melodic house productions suitable for both peak-time and after-hours DJ sets across the deep house spectrum.
