Koch operates under his primary alias DeWalta and runs Meander Records alongside its sister imprint Meander Music.

His sound spans tech house, deep house, and minimal deep tech, with occasional forays into driving techno and house music. DeWalta releases primarily on his own Meander Music and Meander Records labels, while also appearing on respected imprints including Visionquest, Amphia, and Indigo Raw.
