Dhaze

Dhaze is the project of Italian producer Massimo Moccia, who began experimenting with electronic music production and DJing in 1998 after acquiring his first sampler and turntables. Based in Rome, Moccia graduated with a degree in Digital Audio Technology from a Rome music university in 2003, the same year he began performing at notable Italian clubs including Rashomon, Brancaleone, Rising Love, and Classic Club. His production career under the Dhaze alias launched in 2014 with releases spanning a three-year period through 2017.

Dhaze operates across multiple electronic music genres, producing minimal/deep tech, tech house, house, and peak time driving techno. His nine releases have appeared on labels including Metroline Limited, Amazing Music, and Lazerslut, showcasing a sound that ranges from deeper, minimal territories to driving peak-time techno designed for club floors. The project demonstrates versatility within the house and techno spectrum, moving between the subdued grooves of minimal tech and the harder-hitting energy of driving techno depending on the release.
