Disfreq

Disfreq is a group from County Donegal that began releasing music in October 2021. The collective operates under the alias R. Boni and has maintained a prolific output with 21 releases spanning a four-year period through early 2026.

Disfreq produces driving techno and melodic house tracks that range from peak-time dancefloor weapons to more atmospheric indie dance compositions. The group releases on established labels including Diynamic, Trick, REALM Records, Arcane Music, and Kneaded Pains, demonstrating versatility across the tech house and melodic techno spectrum. Their sound encompasses both the harder-edged peak time techno that fills prime-time DJ sets and the deeper melodic house territories that work equally well in opening or closing sets.
