DJ 3000, born Franki Juncaj in Hamtramck, Michigan, began releasing electronic music in 2010. He operates under the aliases Franki Pjetar Luca Juncaj and Mr. Motech, with the latter reflecting his connection to Motech Records, the Detroit-based label where he releases his material. Since his debut release in October 2010, he has maintained a steady output of 23 releases through 2025, establishing himself as a consistent presence in the Detroit techno scene.
