DJ Hell

DJ Hell, born Helmut Josef Geier on September 6, 1962, in Altenmarkt an der Alz, Germany, has been DJing since 1978. He worked at influential German clubs including Größenwahn in Munich, E-Werk in Berlin, and Tresor in Berlin. Hell operates his own imprint, International Deejay Gigolo Records, which serves as his primary release platform alongside his catalog spanning from 2009 to present day releases scheduled through 2025.

His sound encompasses peak-time driving techno, indie dance, house, tech house, and electronica/downtempo across 56 releases. Hell releases music on International Deejay Gigolo Records, The DJ Hell Experience, DUATRECORDS, Mind Medizin Records, and Kompakt. His productions range from high-energy dancefloor techno to more experimental downtempo work, demonstrating versatility across tempo ranges while maintaining his techno foundation.
