About
DJ Linus, real name Stefan Dörflein, is a German house producer and DJ who started his career in 1991. He operates under several aliases including Vincent Vega and Only The Basics, and owns the Exun record label and record shop along with founding Exania Publishing. The Munich-based artist began releasing music under the DJ Linus moniker in 2013.
DJ Linus produces tech house and deep house tracks that span tempos from club-ready grooves to more downtempo organic house arrangements. His releases appear on Go Deeva Records and Sujet Musique, with his sound incorporating elements of nu disco and melodic house & techno. His production style has evolved from straight tech house foundations toward more melodic and organic textures, evidenced by his six releases between 2013 and 2021 that demonstrate a progression into downtempo and organic house territories while maintaining his core house sensibilities.
