DJ Meme, born Marcello Mansur in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, began DJing at age 11 and started creating remixes in 1986. The Brazilian producer also releases music under the aliases Marcello Mansur, Mandala, and Mansur. He has released 12 tracks on Electrobuzz since May 2025, with his most recent release appearing in December 2025.
DJ Meme produces house, tech house, nu disco, Afro house, and deep house music, with releases appearing on Nervous Records. His output spans multiple house subgenres, from the deeper, more contemplative sounds of deep house to the percussion-heavy rhythms of Afro house. The producer's tech house tracks deliver the driving energy DJs need for peak-time sets, while his nu disco work incorporates classic disco elements into modern electronic frameworks.
