DJ Mes, real name Jason Sutton, operates from Oakland and began releasing electronic music in 2018. He also produces under the alias Mailer-Daemon and runs guesthouse music, his own imprint that serves as a primary outlet for his releases.
His sound spans house music territories from jackin house to afro house and deep house, with recent ventures into organic house and downtempo. DJ Mes releases on established labels including Glasgow Underground, Salted Music, Blockhead Recordings, and Milk & Sugar alongside his own guesthouse music platform.
