DJ Minx

DJ Minx is Jennifer Witcher, a Detroit-based DJ and producer who has been active in the city's electronic music scene since the early 1990s. She runs Women On Wax Recordings and has maintained an unbroken performance streak at Detroit Electronic Music Festival/Movement since its inception. Her 2003 track "A Walk in the Park" became a minimal house classic and was later reissued on Richie Hawtin's M_nus imprint.

Her music spans house, deep house, tech house, and techno territories, with releases appearing on KMS Records, Planet E Communications, and Knee Deep In Sound. The sound ranges from deep and hypnotic techno to peak time driving cuts, with her first documented release dating to April 2019 and continuing through 2026. Her catalog demonstrates versatility across the house-techno spectrum, delivering both introspective deep cuts and dancefloor-focused material that reflects Detroit's raw electronic heritage.
