DJ Octopus is Marco Zanin, an electronic music producer from Venice, Italy who began releasing music in 2014. He also produces under the aliases Trippin' and Marco Zanin, with his debut release appearing on Chiwax in October 2014. Over eight years of activity, he has released eleven tracks across multiple respected underground labels.
His sound spans house and techno territories, with releases appearing on Hot Haus Recs, Tropical Animals, HOUSE CRIME, and Shall Not Fade. DJ Octopus produces peak time driving techno alongside leftfield house variations and electronica downtempo material. His catalog demonstrates range from dancefloor-focused house tracks to more experimental electronica compositions, with his most recent release appearing on HOUSE CRIME in May 2022.
