DJ Spider

DJ Spider, real name Rob Hampton, operates from New York after originating in New Jersey. The producer co-founded Plan B Recordings and Sublevel Sounds while establishing his own imprint BTU Music. Hampton has maintained an active release schedule since 2015, working under aliases including Alarma!, Spider Bites, and Kuru. His catalog spans eight releases across a four-year period from 2015 to 2019.

His sound centers on peak time driving techno with excursions into dub techno and house territories. Hampton releases on established labels including Rekids, The Trilogy Tapes, BleeD, Atrophic Society, and Out-er. His productions maintain the driving energy characteristic of New York's underground techno scene, with tracks designed for peak hour dancefloor moments.
