Do Shock Booze is the project of Japanese producer Yoichi Hayashi, who began releasing music in 2017. The artist name, pronounced "Doushokubutsu," serves as Hayashi's primary alias for techno production. Do Shock Booze has maintained consistent output since the debut release in September 2017, with seven releases spanning into 2025.

Do Shock Booze produces raw, deep, and hypnotic techno alongside peak time driving variants and melodic house & techno. The project releases music on Totem Traxx and Resopal Schallware, two labels that showcase the artist's range across different techno subgenres. Hayashi's productions move between the darker, more introspective territories of deep techno and the higher-energy demands of peak time sets, with recent work incorporating melodic elements that bridge house and techno territories.
