Doka

Doka is the techno project of Han Frissen, a producer based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Frissen also records under the aliases Yugen and his own name, with his first Doka release appearing in April 2013. The project released seven tracks between 2013 and 2015 before going dormant, with the final release dropping in October 2015.

Doka operates squarely within peak-time driving techno territory, crafting tracks designed for main room dancefloors. The project's releases appeared on Wolfskuil Records and Gynoid Audio, two labels that specialize in harder-edged techno sounds. Frissen's approach under the Doka moniker focuses on the driving, relentless energy characteristic of peak-time techno, delivering tracks built for the most intense moments of a DJ set when the crowd demands maximum impact.
