Dolby D

Dolby D is the production alias of French techno artist Mickael David, who has been releasing music since 2012. David also operates under the alias Mickael Davis and runs his own imprint Dolma Records. Based in France, he has maintained a consistent output over more than a decade in the electronic music scene.

Dolby D produces raw, deep, and hypnotic techno alongside peak time driving cuts, with occasional forays into house and hard techno territories. His releases appear on respected labels including Planet Rhythm, Dreizehn Schallplatten, FLASH, and ONHCET, alongside his own Dolma Records. With 18 releases spanning from 2012 to 2025, his sound centers on driving techno designed for peak time dancefloor moments, incorporating both the deeper, more hypnotic elements and the harder-edged raw techno that commands attention in club environments.
