Dominic B UK is the production alias of Dominic Owen, a British producer and DJ who operates Smokersblend Records. Owen began his career in 1988 releasing music under the alias DJ Quick & Fizal EFF, and established Sing-A-Song Records in 1989 as an early UK hip hop label. He spent the 1990s working in New York, collaborating with Hitman Howie Tee and producing tracks for artists including Little Shawn and Special Ed. Owen also releases music under the aliases Smokers Blend 3000 and The Love Theme.

Under the Dominic B UK moniker, Owen produces house music spanning afro house, deep house, and jackin house, incorporating UK bass and breakbeat elements. His catalog includes 8 releases between August and December 2025, covering tempos and energy levels that range from the groove-focused rhythms of deep house to the more uptempo dynamics of jackin house and breaks. The sound draws from his decades of experience across hip hop and electronic music production, blending house fundamentals with UK bass influences and afro-centric percussion patterns.
