Dreams is the production alias of Jesse Pimenta, a Brazilian-born artist who relocated to Los Angeles and began releasing electronic music in 2015. Pimenta operates under several aliases including Social Service and DJ Cop Killer, and runs two labels: Dance Data Records and Private Selection Records. His first release appeared in February 2015, with his most recent output dating to August 2019.

Dreams' sound spans peak time techno and classic electro influences, with releases appearing on respected underground labels Pinkman and Apron Records. His productions incorporate driving techno rhythms alongside Detroit-influenced electro elements, occasionally venturing into deep house and industrial territories. The five releases under the Dreams moniker demonstrate a focus on dancefloor-oriented material that bridges the gap between vintage electro sensibilities and contemporary techno energy, making his tracks suitable for both warehouse settings and club peak hours.
