Driftmoon

Driftmoon began as a trance project in 2013, originally formed by Miikka Leinonen from Jyväskylä, Finland, Juraj Klička from Slovakia, and David Sherlock from the UK. David Sherlock departed in November 2013 to focus on his sample company Freshly Squeezed Samples, leaving the duo to launch their own digital imprint Driftmoon Audio in 2014. Miikka Leinonen left the project in April 2016, with the act continuing under Juraj Klička's direction.

The project produces trance and house music, releasing through Black Hole Recordings among other labels. Driftmoon's sound centers on main floor trance with crossover house elements, designed for peak-time dancefloor moments. The act maintains consistent output with nine releases logged since August 2024, indicating an active production schedule that extends into 2026. Their releases span both uplifting trance territories and house-influenced productions, positioning them within the contemporary EDM landscape.
