Droog (LA)

Droog is a US DJ and production collective comprised of Justin Sloe, Andrei Osyka, and Brett Griffin. The group began releasing music in 2013 and has maintained a consistent output on Culprit, their primary label home.

The trio produces deep house and tech house with excursions into minimal deep tech and melodic house and techno. Their releases on Culprit span from 2013 to 2020, showcasing a sound that moves between the deeper, more atmospheric end of house music and its more driving, club-focused iterations. Droog's productions demonstrate a preference for groove-centered arrangements that work equally well in intimate settings and larger dancefloors, maintaining the warmth of deep house while incorporating the rhythmic intensity of tech house.
