Ali Shirazinia, known professionally as Dubfire, was born in Iran on April 19, 1971, and is now based in the United States. He founded the SCI+TEC Digital Audio label, which serves as his primary outlet for releases spanning from 2009 to present. Dubfire operates as a solo artist following his previous work as part of the duo Deep Dish, establishing himself as both a DJ and producer with over 60 releases documented across various platforms.

Dubfire's sound centers on peak time driving techno and raw deep hypnotic techno, with occasional ventures into tech house territory. His releases appear primarily on his own SCI+TEC imprint, alongside labels including Senso Sounds, Kneaded Pains, DCLTD, and IPSO. The music maintains high energy levels suited for peak time DJ sets, characterized by driving rhythms and hypnotic elements that work across both underground club environments and larger festival settings.
