Dubphone

Dubphone was the production alias of Gazdaru Claudiu Cristian, a Romanian DJ and producer who began releasing music in November 2011. Operating from Romania, he built a catalog of 27 releases across electronic music's underground circuit until his death in August 2023. Dubphone released music on respected labels including Get Physical Music, Vandalism Musique, Yoruba Grooves, serialism records, and DPE throughout his career.

Dubphone's sound spanned minimal and deep tech, tech house, peak-time techno, deep house, and electronica downtempo. His productions moved between the driving energy of peak-time techno and the subdued atmospheres of ro-minimal and microhouse. Labels like Get Physical Music showcased his tech house work, while his releases on Vandalism Musique and serialism records explored deeper, more minimal territories. His versatility allowed him to navigate both dancefloor-focused tracks and more introspective electronic compositions across his decade-plus recording career.
