Duke Dumont

Duke Dumont is the stage name of Adam Dyment, a DJ and producer from Harrow, London who began his electronic music career in 2012. Born in August 1981, Dyment was formerly a semi-professional footballer who competed for Great Britain's youth team at Judo before abandoning his sporting pursuits for music. During his early career transition, he worked for O2 as a ringtone creator while developing his production skills. He also releases music under the alias Blasé Boys Club.

Duke Dumont's sound spans tech house, deep house, and peak time driving techno, with releases appearing on major labels including Virgin EMI and Defected. His productions typically feature driving basslines and peak-hour energy designed for main room dance floors. Since his debut release in May 2012, he has maintained consistent output through 2025, with nine releases documented on Electrobuzz. His music balances the accessibility of deep house with the harder edge of tech house, creating tracks that work across different points in a DJ set from warm-up to peak time.
